Doctors warn: The tablet blocks the growth of your baby's fingers

Doctors warn children to hang on to their iPads and play on them for long periods of time, as they make it difficult for a child to catch a normal pencil and write on paper.
Doctors at the Family and Children's Research Agency said that the intensive use of touch screens, smart phones or tablets, limits the growth and development of children's fingers and weakens the grip of the hand,
Chief pediatrician Barbie Clarke noted that transitioning from traditional games to tablets hinders the growth of children in their early years. It is easier to give the child an iPad than to play with cubes and build a house.
Through the British Daily Mail, Clark advises parents to encourage their children to take part in recreational and educational games outside the home as far away from electronic devices as possible, especially children in the early years, and also to participate in indoor play using handballs and other games that require manual skills in order to strengthen hand grip.
